A brief message from Executive Head Karen Ehlers

Etham College, Hilton, an independent, co-educational day and boarding school, is currently being developed to suit the very real and futuristic needs of our children.

Our school will emphasise Christian-based, technologically innovative, socially conscious learning within an individualised, blended learning model, 21st century skills development, entrepreneurship master classes, EQ development programmes, tech-enabled teaching and learning environments.

We have to re-think education and how to prepare this generation to take advantage of the plethora of opportunities and overcome the challenges enabled by ever-increasing technological change. For our children to be prepared to engage in a world alongside smart machines, we have the responsibilities to educate them differently than in the past. As we move further into the future, we must support our children to develop skillsets and mindsets to do anything in their future, rather than a particular something. This new generation must partner with machines rather than compete with them. Our children are to make sense of this new world through hands-on experiences that emphasise collaboration and creativity.

We invite you and your children to join us, cementing a holistically equipped and enabled education for our future leaders.
